The Kittery School Department contracts with Sweetser, a community nonprofit mental health provider, to provide school-based behavioral health services for students and families that request their services. Early intervention and easy access can help keep students on track to achieve their educational and behavioral goals. Sweetser clinicians truly connect with children and work closely with teachers, school counselors, and other members of your child’s care team. These services are typically covered by MaineCare and most insurance plans.
Christine Williams is the school-based behavioral health clinician at Mitchell School. Please contact your child's school counselor to request a referral.
